FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organisation for animals under direct human influence, which reveals suffering, rescues animals in need and protects them. The rescue centre for bears is located right in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District in the North of Germany. As a project manager, you will be responsible for the successful coordination and project management of the extension of the BÄRENWALD Müritz.

Your contribution will be

• Further developing and implementing the project plan (including defining project milestones and resources) for the extension of the BÄRENWALD Müritz
• Supervising and coordinating the project participants, including contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and supervisory authorities
• Monitoring and risk management, including quality control and on-time project delivery
• Managing and monitoring the project budget, schedule and financial resources

Your profile ideally illustrates

• Relevant professional experience in project management/project leadership
• Completed Bachelor's degree
• Experience in dealing with and representing authorities
• Further training in the field of project management is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Independent, careful and structured way of working
• Strong social and intercultural skills
