FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organisation for animals under direct human influence, which reveals suffering, rescues animals in need and protects them. The rescue centre for bears is located right in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District in the North of Germany. Your contribution will be

• Taking care of rescued bears according to the feeding plan
• Caring and maintaining of the enclosures
• Implementing of FOUR PAWS quality standards
• Designing of enrichments
• Supporting the veterinary examinations
• Documenting of individual animal health, feeding and behavioural problems
• Public relations work, e.g. participation in events of all kinds

Your profile ideally illustrates

• Education as zoological animal caretaker
• Experience in husbandry of large carnivores
• Ability to work independently
• Hands-on mentality and skilled craftsmanship
• People person who likes to interact with others including guests and staff
• Drivers licence (B)
• Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
